Wise County Sheriff's Office Records

The Wise County Sheriff's Office is the main law enforcement agency for the county. It maintains arrest records, incident reports, accident reports, and other police files. Under Virginia Code Section 2.2-3700 et seq., all public records are presumed open unless a specific exemption applies. The office must respond within five working days.
